Armen Ashotyan holds solo protest outside EU office in Armenia

Opposition politician Armen Ashotyan, deputy chair of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), on Saturday staged a solo protest outside the EU Delegation office in Yerevan. Holding a poster reading “Free Armenian hostages in Baku”, Ashotyan chained his hands to the fence outside the building.

Through the protest, he sought once again to draw the attention of the international community to the plight of Armenians unlawfully imprisoned in Baku and to call for their immediate release.
