Opposition MP criticizes government's narrative of 'unprecedented' achievements

Opposition Pativ Unem faction MP Tigran Abrahamyan has strongly criticized the Armenian leadership’s claims of “unprecedented” achievements.

According to him, when the authorities are accused of conceding Armenia’s sovereignty, they highlight infrastructure projects such as roads. When concerns are raised about the country’s security or losses, officials point to the construction of schools or tunnels.

“Every day, many officials share images of the same roads, schools and tunnels, dressing them up from new angles and parading them as unprecedented achievements," Abrahamyan wrote on Facebook on Saturday.

“The only thing unprecedented here is your submission and servility,” he added.
