Parliament speaker: Azerbaijani goods will inevitably appear in Armenian market

Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan claims that Armenian and Azerbaijani markets will inevitably become interconnected.

“I once made a similar remark and faced criticism. But in a very short time Armenians and Azerbaijanis will be trading with each other. We will have a common market. Azerbaijani goods will be available in Armenian stores, while Armenian products will appear in shops in Baku and other cities. This is inevitable,” Simonyan told reporters on Thursday.

He also noted that people will likely start purchasing fuel from Azerbaijan as it is more affordable there.
