Delegations from Armenia and Azerbaijan met last week in border areas of Armenia’s Syunik Province and Azerbaijan’s Zangilan district, the office of Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan confirmed to RFE/RL's Armenian Service.
The talks involved members of the commissions on border delimitation and security, including representatives from both countries’ Defense Ministries, National Security Services, Foreign Ministries and territorial administration bodies.
Grigoryan’s office did not provide details on the timing, location or agenda of the next meeting, saying only that discussions are underway.
