Armenian pensioners must also declare their income in 2025, MP says

An additional 500,000 Armenian citizens, including pensioners, will be required to submit income declarations starting 2026, ruling Civil Contract party MP Babken Tunyan announced on Friday.

In his address to the parliament, he reaffirmed the government's pledge to submit a package of amendments by the end of the year aimed at improving the declaration system and making it more user-friendly.

 “Given that 500,000 more people, including pensioners, will have to submit declarations next year, solutions must be offered to ensure the process is not burdensome. I believe the proposed measures will be acceptable to all,” Tunyan said.
