Armenian government allocates 639.3 million drams for 13 urgent regional programs
The Armenian government has approved a redistribution of the state budget to finance 13 urgent regional programs worth 639.3 million drams.
Presenting the draft decision at Thursday's cabinet meeting, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan said the redistribution was necessary to address priority needs in provinces.
The funding will be directed to seven provinces, including Aragatsotn (1 program), Armavir (2 programs), Gegharkunik (3 programs), Lori (1 program), Shirak (1 program), Vayots Dzor (3 programs) and Tavush (2 programs).
Following tradition, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan outlined the projects, which included roof repairs, sewer line replacements, the construction of a central wastewater collector and a decentralized treatment plant, as well as compensation for a vehicle damaged in a disaster in Lori.
