Armenian opposition MP resigns

Opposition Hayastan faction MP Aregnaz Manukyan has submitted resignation.

“I am resigning from the parliament to join Mother Armenia, led by Andranik Tevanyan, which has applied for registration as a political party,” Manukyan said in a statement on Friday.

She explained that her decision was guided by both political and ethical principles.

“I wish all genuine opposition forces effective work and victory,” she added.
