Opposition MP slams Armenian government's track record

Armenian opposition MP Tigran Abrahamyan claims the transformation of September "from a victorious to a tragic month" reflects the current government’s reckless policies.

In a Facebook post on Friday, Abrahamyan, who represents the Pativ Unem faction, accused the authorities of embodying “denial, defeatism, evasion and deceit,” saying these traits continue to define the government.

He argued that over the past five years Armenia had suffered “unprecedented” military and diplomatic losses under Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s administration.

"The government’s aggressive and manipulative propaganda is aimed at covering up reality as much as possible, something that is definitely doomed to fail," the MP wrote.
