Yerevan's storm drain system needs cleanup, activist says

Yerevan’s stormwater infrastructure requires immediate cleanup, activist Eduard Hayrumyan claims.

He recently shared footage of a heavily clogged storm drain in one of the city’s underpasses. The buildup appears hardened, suggesting it has gone uncleaned for years.

"Yerevan needs a major cleanup both above and below ground. Otherwise, any talk of infrastructure modernization is meaningless," he wrote.
