EU 'pushing Europe towards war', Armenian politician says

Artak Zakaryan, a senior member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), has issued a warning regarding recent developments within the European Union.

In a social media post on Friday, Zakaryan noted that the statements made at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit indicate the EU is "effectively pushing Europe towards war".

He stated that the EU agenda is increasingly focused on financial support for Ukraine, the prospect of fast-tracked membership and funding for arms supplies.

"All developments within the EU signal a shift toward a military course," Zakaryan said, adding that the coming months will be marked by heightened tensions and new threats.
