Our Way movement may form political party in January

The Our Way (Mer Dzevov) movement, led by detained businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan, may begin the process of establishing a political party in January, its coordinator Narek Karapetyan said on Saturday.

The group opened its first office in Gyumri, Armenia’s second-largest city, which Karapetyan described as “important for us and for the country”. He congratulated Gyumri residents on the city’s holiday, highlighting that Gyumri “is becoming more attractive” and has the potential to develop into a major tourist center.

When asked about political plans, he stated: “We think that in January we may start the process of forming a political party.”
