Vahagn Arsenyan to be appointed Vayots Dzor governor

The Armenian government is expected to approve the dismissal of Vayots Dzor Governor Kolya Mikayelyan at today’s cabinet meeting.

Separately, Vahagn Arsenyan will be installed as new Vayots Dzor governor in accordance with Article 160(2) of the Constitution and Article 6(1) of the law on territorial administration.

Vahagn Arsenyan is the son of Ashot Arsenyan, the owner of Jermuk Group CJSC.
