'We will never retreat': Lawyer shares Samvel Karapetyan's message

At the inaugural congress of the Our Way movement on Saturday, lawyer Aram Vardevanyan announced that he had met with detained businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan at Yerevan’s Kentron Penitentiary and shared his message conveyed to him.

In his address, Karapetyan emphasized that from the very inception of the movement, their primary goal has been to keep the Armenian people’s hope for the future alive and prevent them from leaving their homeland in search of a better life, “abandoning it to the whims of the enemy and its servants".

“We have succeeded in achieving that goal and I congratulate all of us for it,” Karapetyan’s message read.

He stated that the movement has already gained momentum and has brought about significant changes in Armenia’s political landscape, which he described as a collective achievement that should become a national one.

“It’s an honor that thousands of worthy people have joined our movement and become our comrades-in-arms,” Karapetyan said. “I strongly believe that we have the potential to expand further and evolve into a nationwide movement. Let no one doubt it. We will never retreat and will never stop.”
