Pashinyan says he maintains regular contact with Aliyev since August 8

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan says that contacts with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev have become regular since the signing of the Washington Declaration on August 8.

Speaking at a press briefing on Thursday, Pashinyan highlighted his government's efforts to secure the release of Armenian detainees held in Azerbaijan.

“We are engaged in daily efforts regarding the detained persons and are doing everything possible to achieve tangible results,” Pashinyan said.

The prime minister also addressed his recent visit to Egypt, expressing gratitude to the presidents of the United States and Egypt for the invitation.

“Our meetings with the Azerbaijani president have become regular, especially following the peace established on August 8,” Pashinyan said.
