'No authoritarian rule is eternal', says Armenian lawyer

Political persecutions and pre-trial detentions have become rampant in Armenia, lawyer Aram Vardevanyan stated at a rally organized by the Our Way (Mer Dzevov) movement on Saturday.

Vardevanyan urged the public to remain steadfast, expressing confidence that the rule of law will prevail.

“No authoritarian rule is eternal or effective,” he emphasized, noting that international reactions to the situation in Armenia are beginning to intensify. “This is turning into a snowball effect, the law will prevail,” the lawyer added.
