Armenia's Central Bank warns of phishing emails

The Central Bank of Armenia informs that phishing emails are being circulated on behalf of the CBA, from different fake emails, including [email protected]. The emails include attached files.

“Please be advised that these emails are malicious and fraudulent,” it said in a statement on Monday.

People are strongly urged to:

• not open the attached files

• not click on the links in the email

• immediately delete such emails

“The Central Bank of Armenia has no connection with these messages and never distributes information or documents in this manner or from such email addresses. Please be vigilant and follow basic cybersecurity rules,” reads the statement.
