Former deputy environment minister named new Yerevan district head

Former Deputy Environment Minister Tigran Gabrielyan has been appointed head of Yerevan’s Shengavit administrative district, Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced at a meeting on Monday.

Gabrielyan was not reappointed as deputy environment minister after Hovhannes Matevosyan took over the ministry. His appointment to head the Shengavit district comes two months after his departure from the post.

Avinyan congratulated Gabrielyan and wished him success in his new position.
