Aliyev says Azerbaijan lifted all restrictions on cargo transit to Armenia

Azerbaijan has lifted all restrictions on cargo transit to Armenia, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said.

"I need to say that Azerbaijan has lifted all restrictions on cargo transit to Armenia [...], and the first such cargo transit was a shipment of Kazakh grain to Armenia," Interfax quoted Aliyev as saying at a joint press conference with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana on Tuesday.

It is also a good indicator of the fact that "peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia is already not only on paper but is also in practice," he said.

Aliyev is paying a state visit to Kazakhstan.
