Fatal crash reported on Vagharshapat–Margara highway

A tragic road accident occurred on the Vagharshapat–Margara highway in Armenia’s Armavir Province on Wednesday morning. At around 9:14 a.m., emergency services were alerted to a collision near the village of Apaga, where a person was reported trapped inside a vehicle.

Regional fire and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that two cars, a Lada and a Mazda, had collided at the 10th kilometre of the highway.

The Mazda driver and a Lada passenger were taken to hospital. Sadly, the Lada’s driver died in the wake of the crash.
