Car crash in Armenia's Tavush leaves 11 injured

A major road accident occurred on the Ijevan-Shamshadin highway in Armenia’s Tavush Province on Friday morning. A Mercedes collided with a Hyundai bus at around 8:30 a.m. local time, Shamshyan.com reported.

The collision forced the bus off the road and into a wooded area. Eleven people were injured and taken to Tavush Medical Center after receiving first aid at the scene.

Investigators have launched a criminal case to determine the circumstances of the crash, as well as the identities of the drivers, vehicle owners and injured passengers.
