Armenian information security expert Artur Papyan has condemned the online circulation of intimate videos allegedly involving Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan, calling it an unacceptable violation of privacy.
In a social media post on Saturday, Papyan said the release of secretly recorded videos or audio clips cannot be justified under any circumstances, whether for political, social or personal reasons. “It undermines trust, discredits institutions and demeans human dignity,” he wrote.
He stated that such actions breach Armenia’s constitution, national laws and international obligations, contradicting the principles of democracy.
