800 hay bales destroyed in Armenian village fire

A fire in the village of Ttujur, Gegharkunik Province, has destroyed around 800 hay bales, Armenia’s Interior Ministry reported.

Emergency services received the alert at 8:55 p.m. local time on Sunday. Two fire and rescue crews were dispatched to the scene, where the blaze had erupted in the yard of a house.

The fire was contained at 12:50 a.m. and fully extinguished at 4:14 a.m. on Monday. No casualties were reported.
