Strong winds damage trees, roofs in Yerevan

Strong winds swept through the Armenian capital Yerevan on Sunday afternoon, damaging roofs and trees.

The National Crisis Management Center said it began receiving emergency calls at around 3:55 p.m. local time.

Rescue crews from the Interior Ministry were dispatched to affected areas, clearing debris, securing damaged roofs and cordoning off hazardous zones.
