Azerbaijani and Armenian delegations to exchange visits, speaker says

Azerbaijani delegations will visit Armenia and Armenian delegations will travel to Azerbaijan in the near future, Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan announced at a briefing on Friday.

Simonyan noted that a number of important issues remain on the agenda, particularly concerning Armenian prisoners of war and detainees, which he described as a major problem.

“The contacts will continue and we plan to deepen the dialogue,” Simonyan said, adding that he believes "the Azerbaijani side shares the same approach".
