Three injured remain in hospital after bus crash near Armenian monastery

Three of the 30 people injured in a bus accident near the Haghartsin Monastery remain in hospital, the Armenian Health Ministry told Panorama.am on Monday. Their condition is assessed as moderate and one of the victims underwent surgery on Sunday.

All other passengers received medical treatment and were discharged from the hospital, its spokesperson Mariam Tsatryan said.

The incident occurred when a bus carrying students from Yerevann Brusov State University overturned on its way back from an excursion. The tour company BUS VOYAGE said the crash was caused by the collapse of roadside soil.
