Khachatur Sukiasyan's company again wins Yerevan Municipality health insurance tender

Armenian insurer SIL Insurance, owned by pro-government MP and businessman Khachatur Sukiasyan, has again won the tender to provide health insurance for Yerevan Municipality employees and its subsidiaries, city health chief David Karapetyan said at a meeting on Monday.

The new insurance package took effect on October 13. Under the plan, employees may add their family members, including spouses, parents up to age 70, and children under 21, within one month.

Karapetyan urged department heads to encourage staff to undergo preventive medical check-ups, noting that only 2,000 of 15,000 insured employees used the service last year.
