Armenia reports low levels of respiratory infections

Armenia recorded low levels of acute respiratory infections last week, the Ministry of Health said.

Hospitalizations for such illnesses remained almost unchanged compared to the previous week and were 1.2 times lower than during the same period last year.

Laboratory tests did not detect any influenza viruses. However, other respiratory viruses currently circulating include rhinovirus, parainfluenza, adenovirus and SARS-CoV-2.
