Fire breaks out at eatery in central Yerevan

A fire broke out at one of the eateries on Tumanyan Street in central Yerevan on Thursday morning, the Rescue Service reported.

The emergency call was received at 10:58 a.m. local time, prompting the dispatch of two fire and rescue crews and a ladder truck from the Yerevan City Rescue Department to the scene.

Firefighters managed to contain the blaze at 11:31 a.m. No casualties have been reported.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.

Earlier, another fire was reported at a cafe on Komitas Avenue in the Armenian capital.
