Major fire erupts at Yerevan shopping center eatery

A major fire broke out at an eatery in a shopping center on Yerevan's Komitas Avenue on Thursday morning. The National Center for Crisis Management received the alert at 11:08 a.m.

Initially, four fire and rescue crews and one ladder truck from the Yerevan Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene. As the situation escalated, the fire was classified as a Level 3 emergency, prompting the deployment of six additional teams.

The blaze reportedly started on the roof of the building. Firefighting operations are underway.
