Armenia's Tyhran Ambartsumian Crowned European U14 chess vice-champion

13-year-old FM Tyhran Ambartsumian is the European U14 chess vice-champion, the Armenian Chess Federation reported.

Tyhran scored 7.5 points out of 9, sharing 1st-2nd places and finishing 2nd on tie-breaks on Friday.

“We congratulate Tyhran, as well as his coach, GM Tigran Harutyunyan, on this remarkable achievement and wish them many more successes ahead,” reads the statement.
