Four dead, 46 injured in 40 road accidents in Armenia over three days

Armenia’s police reported 40 road accidents between November 7 and 10, leaving four people dead and 46 injured.

According to the police statement, 253 crimes were recorded across the country during the same period, including 51 cases of driving without a valid licence, 37 drug-related offences, 18 cases of bodily harm, and 13 thefts. Authorities also uncovered instances of fraud, hooliganism, illegal logging and document forgery.

Twenty-one wanted persons were found, five individuals turned themselves in, and two missing persons were located. Police also recorded three cases of voluntarily surrendered weapons and ammunition.

Investigators solved ten previously committed crimes, including cases of extortion, theft and one murder.
