Arman Tatoyan: Armenia should focus on development, not mere survival

Arman Tatoyan, founder of the political movement Wings of Unity, says Armenia’s priority should be development rather than survival.

 

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Tatoyan argued that the country must learn from successful global models, particularly the United States, without becoming dependent on any single power.

 

He highlighted the effectiveness of the U.S. judicial system, universities and technology sector as examples Armenia could emulate to build independent institutions and foster innovation. Tatoyan stressed that Armenia should “cooperate with everyone but depend on no one,” adding that the nation’s strength lies in finding self-reliant solutions rather than seeking protection.

 

“Our goal should not be to survive, but to grow,” Tatoyan said, calling this approach the only realistic strategy for safeguarding Armenia’s national interests and regional stability.
