Journalist David Fidanyan detained

David Fidanyan, a journalist with AntiFake media outlet, was detained for allegedly obstructing justice on Thursday.

Fidanyan’s detention was announced by lawyer Ruben Melikyan, who called the accusations “strange”. No further details have yet been released.

His detention came after law enforcement officers arrested opposition activists and Imnemnimi podcast hosts Narek Samsonyan and Vazgen Saghatelyan on charges of “hooliganism” following searches of their homes.
