Armenia set for warm, dry spell as Mediterranean cyclone moves out

Armenia is set to enter a warm and dry period as a departing Mediterranean cyclone gives way to hot air masses moving in from the southwest, according to the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center.

Its Deputy Director Gagik Surenyan reports that the cyclone that brought scattered showers in recent days will exit the country in a few hours. “Rainfall will stop and Armenia will see sunny and dry weather over the next 10 days,” he said in a social media video on Monday.

Temperatures are expected to rise by 3-4C on 18-19 November and then remain stable through the end of the month.
