Armenia's industrial output falls by 17.9% in October

Armenia’s industrial output slumped by 17.9% in October compared with the same month last year, continuing a broader trend of weakness in some segments of the economy, the Statistical Committee reported.

For the first ten months of 2025, Armenia’s overall economic activity rose by 8.1% year-on-year, driven by construction, trade and services. October alone saw economic activity grow 10.1% year-on-year.

Construction expanded by 20.6% to 551.4 billion drams, services increased by 10.8% to 3.33 trillion drams, electricity production rose by 4.2% to 7.44 billion drams and trade turnover grew by 3.2% to 5.32 trillion drams.

However, industrial production fell by 3% in January-October, with a sharp 17.9% drop in October. Foreign trade also declined by 37.1%, with exports down 44.7% to 16.5 billion drams and imports down 31.2% to 10.1 billion drams.
