Major premiere set for Yerevan Opera stage

The National Opera and Ballet Theater in Yerevan will host the premiere of Tigran Mansurian’s ballet The Snow Queen on 27 and 28 December. The performance featuring two acts marks a major addition to the theatre’s seasonal program.

The theater reports that extensive preparations are already underway. Rehearsals are in full swing, while stage sets and costumes are being meticulously crafted to bring the production to life.

“In just one month, we will present a new and magnificent ballet performance,” organizers said, highlighting the scale of the project.
