Armen Ashotyan accuses Pashinyan of enabling OSCE Minsk Group dissolution

Opposition politician Armen Ashotyan, deputy chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), has sharply criticized Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan following reports that the OSCE Minsk Group has been effectively dissolved.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Ashotyan accused Pashinyan of bearing responsibility for what he described as the “final liquidation” of the body tasked with mediating the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process for nearly three decades.

“Nikol, as a result of your criminal actions, the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group has been finalized today. At the expense of our national interests, you have once again handed a gift to [Azerbaijani President Ilham] Aliyev,” Ashotyan wrote.

The politician expressed confidence that further details surrounding the issue will eventually come to light and “take their place among the charges” he believes will be brought against Pashinyan in the future.

He also urged Pashinyan to release all documents related to the Artsakh negotiations. “Now, according to your own claim, finish 'scanning' all the negotiation papers and release them. Hurry up,” he wrote.
