Wildfires continue in occupied Artsakh

Wildfires that broke out in the Karvachar region of Azerbaijani-occupied Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on 28 November continue to burn.

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the blaze is located in a mountainous and hard-to-access area.

“Despite strong winds that are hindering firefighting operations, efforts to extinguish the fire are ongoing,” the ministry said in a statement, according to local media.
