Armenia sees light snowfall and isolated ice patches

Armenia reported mixed winter weather on Tuesday morning, with light snowfall observed in Ashotsk, Artik, Ani and Hrazdan, as well as on the Mirak-Aragats roadway. Light rain was recorded in the Masis region.

Transport authorities said sections of the Vardenyats Pass and several roads in the Aragats region were affected by isolated patches of black ice.

Despite the conditions, all interstate and national roads remain open. Road maintenance crews are carrying out snow-clearing operations and treating surfaces with salt and sand to keep routes safe for travel.
