Armenian church leader starts visits to Switzerland and Marseille

Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II on Wednesday paid a one-day visit to Switzerland to be followed by a two-day trip to Marseille in southern France, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin reports.

According to the statement, Karekin II is accompanied by Bishop Vahan Hovhannisyan, Director of the Garegin I Educational Center; Bishop Mushegh Babayan, Chairman of the Administrative and Economic Department of the Mother See; Archbishop Shahe Ananyan, Dean of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary; and Father Grigor Minasyan, the Catholicos’ Commissioner.
