Flights bound for Yerevan diverted to Tbilisi due to heavy fog

Several flights bound for Yerevan were forced to make emergency landings in Tbilisi due to heavy fog at Zvartnots Airport on Tuesday.

According to the airport’s public relations officer, Lusine Moghravyan, three planes from Dubai, Moscow and Abu Dhabi were diverted. She added that passengers’ onward travel arrangements will be determined by the respective airlines.

Zvartnots Airport reported delays for arrivals from Sharm El Sheikh, Moscow, Naples, Abu Dhabi, Larnaca, Tbilisi and Yekaterinburg, as well as for departures to Tbilisi, Dubai, Larnaca, Abu Dhabi and Yekaterinburg.
