Armenian defense minister and wife welcome baby boy

Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and his wife have welcomed a baby boy, Rafayel, named after the minister’s father.

Papikyan shared the news on Facebook on Wednesday, writing, “I’m delighted to announce the birth of my son, Rafayel Papikyan. Welcome to the world, my boy! May all children enjoy a carefree and happy childhood.”

The baby is the couple's second child.
