Istanbul's Armenian patriarch meets with Turkish interior minister

Archbishop Sahak Mashalian, Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople (Istanbul), has held talks with Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya in Ankara.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Armenian Patriarchate said Archbishop Mashalian expressed a desire for minority communities to be represented and their views to be taken into account during the process of drafting Turkey's new constitution.
