First-ever robotic surgeries performed in Armenia

Armenia performed its first-ever robotic surgeries on Friday.

According to surgeon Vahe Ter-Minasyan, three robotic procedures were successfully carried out in a single day, covering the fields of general surgery, urology and gynaecology.

"It's a remarkable moment to realize that you and your colleagues were the first in Armenia to perform such operations," he wrote on Facebook.
