Yerevan City Council member resigns

A member of the Civil Contract faction in Yerevan’s City Council has stepped down.

Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced at a municipal meeting on Tuesday that councilor Kima Abrahamyan had submitted resignation.

According to the mayor, the Central Electoral Commission’s protocol dated 11 December 2025 has reassigned the vacant seat to Khoren Hovhannisyan, the next candidate on the Civil Contract party’s electoral list.
