Former Artsakh leader marks birthday in Baku jail

Former Artsakh parliament speaker David Ishkhanyan once again marks his birthday in a Baku prison on December 27.

For more than two years, Azerbaijan has continued to hold former Artsakh military and political leaders, including Ishkhanyan, who are facing a prolonged sham trial in Baku.

Ishkhanyan is a member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Bureau and has long served as the party’s representative in Artsakh.
