Georgia expels 13 foreign nationals

Georgian authorities have expelled 13 foreign nationals, including citizens of Turkmenistan, Iran, Cuba, Turkey, Thailand and Azerbaijan, the Interior Ministry’s Migration Department reported on Tuesday.

The ministry said the expulsions were carried out through coordinated efforts with relevant agencies and in accordance with Georgian law, which bars expelled individuals from re-entering the country.

In 2025, a total of 1,311 foreign nationals were deported from Georgia, the ministry added.

The Migration Department is tasked with identifying and removing foreigners residing in Georgia without legal authorization through intensified migration controls and other measures.
