Several cities across Armenia have recorded unusually high temperatures reaching 18C, according to the country’s Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center.
The deputy director of the state-run agency, Gagik Surenyan, said that as of 2 p.m. local time on Wednesday, spring-like conditions were being observed in Tavush and Syunik Provinces.
Temperatures of between 14C and 18C were reported in a number of towns and villages, including Ijevan, Bagratashen, Goris and Kapan, as well as several other settlements.
