Street in Israel's Ramla named 'Armenian Church'

A street in the Israeli city of Ramla leading to the St. George Armenian Church has been officially named “Armenian Church”.

The ceremony took place on Monday and was organized by Ramla City Hall, with the city’s mayor, Michael Vidal, in attendance.

Among those present were Bishop Koryun Baghdasaryan and Fr. Suren Ghazaryan, the priest of the St George Church. Representatives of other Christian denominations, as well as members of the local Armenian community, also attended the ceremony.
