Former Armenian police chief summoned to Prosecutor's Office

Armenia’s former police chief Valeriy Osipyan and his wife Lusine Tadevosyan were summoned to the Prosecutor General’s Office on Monday as part of a probe into the legality of their assets, according to data on Azdarar.am accessed by Panorama.am.

The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin has reviewed property belonging to the couple and prepared a summary of findings. They were notified to appear within a month to examine case materials and submit their position and declaration.

Osipyan, who was appointed police chief in 2018, was dismissed from the post in 2019.
